v for victorious vocabulario

Before I begin, I’d like to point out that the GDN actually participated in last week’s vocabulario, with “razzmatazz”. I claim this victory in the name of vocabulario and look forward to seeing more use of our words..

Lets get on with it shall we? Here are your words for the week.. enjoy them and use them..

Chocolate-Box

Immix

Albatross

After clearing the albatross of immixed emotions hanging around my head these past couple of days, I am left with the chocolate-box image of a grand time.

All the best

Isn't an Albatross also some kind of bird? The Wandering Albatross? Wasn't that a story?

It's like a duck, I think... which is a shame of a name for a duck when it also means something so burdensome...

Hmm.. Yarzz, I find it amusing that you've got two albatrosses (? plural) sitting at the window in the office. Did you guys know that an albatross is also the name of the score lower than eagle in golf? Three under par on one hole, if you will.. or a double eagle, to some.
